To ensure a seamless selection process and a successful festival, we ask all interested muralists to adhere to the following submission guidelines. We aren’t just looking for beautiful sketches; we are looking for artists who understand the unique industrial character of the Carpet Mills.

Submission Requirements: Artists are expected to submit their interest through the form below.

Technical Design Constraints

• Surface Texture: Most walls are stucco and cinder block.

• Durability: All designs must be executed using high-quality, UV-resistant outdoor pigments or professional-grade aerosol.

• Safety & Access: Artists must be comfortable working at heights. If selected, proof of artist insurance is preferred (we can provide resources if you do not have a policy).

• Community Standards: While we encourage bold expression and "sparking conversation," designs must be appropriate for a public space frequented by families and diverse community members.

Evaluation Criteria

1. Artistic Merit: Originality and technical skill.

2. Feasibility: Can the design be realistically completed within the 5–7 day window?

3. Site Synergy: How well does the design complement the industrial architecture of the Carpet Mills?

4. Professionalism: Evidence of ability to manage large-scale projects and meet deadlines.
